Broncos Softball Lose Heartbreaker At Home 4-3
Monday May 5th’s game against Ely was a heartbreaker for the Broncos Softball team, as they lost the lead late in a 4-3 defeat. The game was tied at three in the top of the sixth when Zoe MacKenzie singled, scoring one run.

Alyana Koenig took the loss, the Sophomore southpaw went seven innings, surrendering four runs on 10 hits, striking out seven and walking none.

Cheznee Skrien drove the middle of the lineup leading the Broncos with two runs batted in. The first baseman went 1-for-4 on the day. Mara Buller and Neva Kokesh both went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead in hits.
They’ll play again Tuesday, May 6th at home against Greenway-Nashwauk Keewatin.
