Candlelight Hike

Lake Bemidji State Park has a Halloween event for kids coming up next weekend.  A Spooky Candlelight Hike will be held at the park Saturday, October 29 from 5:30 to 7:30pm.  Park naturalist Christa Drake says the hike is coming back after a couple of years off because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Drake says the trail is between a half mile and three-quarters of a mile and you don’t have to walk the entire trail.  You’re encouraged to wear costumes, too.  Just a reminder that vehicles entering Lake Bemidji State Park will need a valid Minnesota state park vehicle permit, which is $7 per day or $35 annual.  Again, that’s Saturday, October 29 at Lake Bemidji State Park.
