A stretch of Highway 9 south of Ada is closed due to flooding. The Minnesota Department of Transportation says Highway 9 is closed between 170th Avenue and 190th Avenue near the Wild Rice River; that’s one to three miles south of Ada. BUXTON, ND—The Central Valley School Board had its regular monthly meeting on Wednesday. Superintendent Jeremy Brandt tells us what happened. Brandt says it will cost between $30,000 and $40,000 to repair the roof. He also says the School Board has received one bid for the project and he’s awaiting a second bid.
The Norman County 4-H Dog program will begin having practices starting next week, Monday, April 17th. 4-H Coordinator Linda Houglum gives details Houglum is hoping that the dog project can grow upon last year’s success. There will also be a larger dog training workshop coming up in May
