Catholic Schools Week – Bowling Bishops and Dueling Pianos

January 26-February 1st is Catholic Schools week, a week dedicated to schools like International Falls’s very own St Thomas Aquinas. The festivities they planned would bring in company all the way from Duluth when they host their Bowl With the Bishop at Timber Pins.

Of course there was the question of any strikes being thrown at the bowling alley.

St Thomas Aquinas School Administrator Kaylee Simonson was also present at Timber Pins to talk of where the idea came from.

So what is the hardest part about catholic schools week and about scheduling these events?

Another event STA is hosting is Saturday’s Dueling Pianos.

And our friendly, visiting Bishop is quite the road warrior for Catholic Schools week.
