International Falls, MN: Betsy Zaren, International Falls Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors chairwoman, announced Denise Kulig has been selected as the organization’s part-time Executive Director.

Kulig earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Purdue University and has held several professional positions since then, including most recently at the Cantilever Distillery and Wagner Construction.

“Denise brings a depth of knowledge, experience, and positive energy to the Chamber. She and her husband Eric also own a business on Main Street —The Dressy Moose Emporium — so she understands the demands, challenges, and opportunities entrepreneurs face on a daily basis. We are grateful to have her on board,” said Zaren.

“l was compelled to apply for the Executive Director position because I care about the greater International Falls area and the business community. We need our Chamber, and we need it to be successful. I am excited to be part of the leadership team who will help rebuild the Chamber into an organization that is once again vibrant and beneficial to the community” said Kulig. Kulig can be reached at 218.283.9400 or chamberadmin@intlfalls.org.
