Christopherson Runs For MN House 1B Seat

A Crookston Democrat has filed his nomination for State Representative in House District 1B. Mike Christopherson was endorsed earlier this month at the Polk/Red Lake County DFL convention in Crookston.  Christopherson is a former reporter for the Crookston Times and currently serves as a full-time substitute teacher at the Fisher Public School.  He will be running for the House 1B seat that is currently held by Deb Kiel, who is not running for re-election. East Grand Forks Mayor Steve Gander is the Republican contender for the House 1B seat.
