City of Ada approached about potential buyout of Municipal Liquor Store 

The Ada City Council will have further discussions in the coming weeks about the future of the Ada Municipal Liquor Store, after they were approached by Tony’s Foods owner Tony Huotte regarding a potential buyout. Ada Mayor John Hintz recaps the discussion that was had at Tuesday night council meeting. 

Hintz says the council also heard an update on the Ada Public Works building project. 

Other items from Tuesday’s meeting included donation requests from the Ada Bio Girls, Katie Brommenschenkel-Vilmo Scholarship Fund, and the Heart of the Valley Recreational Foundation, as well as discussions and the approval of pay increases to Dekko Community Center workers.
