City of Ada Bike Rodeo and Parade recap

ADA, MN — The City of Ada, along with many other partners and volunteers, held their annual Bike Rodeo and Parade on Wednesday, May 14th. The area youngsters got a chance to have their bicycles checked out, and learn about the rules of bike riding and being safe.

Brianna Eggen with the Dekko Center says there was a lot of excitement from the youngsters for this event.

Kim Myers with Norman-Mahnomen Public Health says the #1 reason for having this event is to teach bike safety to the youngsters in the community.

Myers says the bike rodeo has become a success because of the many volunteers participating

The Ada Boy Scouts participated by providing food during the event, which helps them to raise funds for upcoming Scouts activities. Troop leader Pat Pfund explains the activities that are coming up this year for the Ada Boy Scouts.
