City of Ada Still Waiting on Home Rehabilitation Grant Update
Ada, MN — For the number of people still waiting to find out if they will qualify for a home rehabilitation grant, Ada City Administrator Ashley Larson says they are still in the dark waiting to find out if the city will receive the funding. Almost a year and a half ago, The City of Ada began the process of applying for a $600,000 Home Rehab grant that would provide assistance to low-income individuals needing repairs for their home. The grant process in its final stage before being awarded, but Larson says they are several months behind their original schedule.
Larson also provided an update on the Ada EDA and some of their recent projects. Their main focus right now is on providing low-interest loans for new and expanding businesses as well as encouraging residents to utilize their demo funds to demolish dilapidated properties.
