City of Aitkin update with Mayor Megan Workman

(Aitkin, MN) — Continuing conversations on the future of the Aitkin City Park and updates on the other Aitkin projects highlighted the monthly update with Aitkin Mayor Megan Workman.

Mayor Workman mentioned the City is in talks with professionals on expanding amenities for the City Park.

Some of the potential projects do include recreational activities for young and old.

In other City related news, the new camera system to deter vandalism at the City Park has not fulfilled their needs.

The City of Aitkin also fell on the short end of getting passage of a bonding and tax bill due to inactivity at the State Legislature.
