City of Pierz Council meeting from Monday, September 12th

(Pierz, MN) — The City of Pierz Council meeting covered the 2023 Preliminary Levy, the early stages of the 2024 Street Project while looking into filling the City’s Treasurer’s position and hires for the Pierz Fire Department.

Mayor Dave Fisher first noted the Council setting the 2023 Preliminary Levy.

The Truth and Taxation meeting was also set for December.

Further details were established for the City of Pierz’s 2024 Street Improvement Project.

Mayor Fisher did explain the current situation to fill the Treasurer’s position.

The Pierz Fire Department will also be going through the hiring process for replacement firefighters.
