Clearwater County Sheriff’s Reserve Hosting Fundraiser this Saturday in Bagley
Bagley, MN — The Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office is hosting a Taco Bar and Taco in a Bag Fundraiser this Saturday, March 26th from 5-7pm at the Bagley American Legion to raise money for their Volunteer Sheriff’s Reserve. Clearwater County Sheriff Darin Halverson says their Sheriff’s Reserve members are 100% volunteer and receive no funding from their department. They rely strictly on donations for training and equipment, yet still play an important role in assisting the Sheriff’s Office and other area agencies.
There are currently 11 members of the Clearwater County Volunteer Sheriff’s Reserve and historically there have been as many as 25. Members of the Reserve will be on hand during this weekend’s fundraiser and Sheriff Halverson encourages those who would like to learn more information about the group to stop by and visit.
The cost of this Saturday’s Taco Bar & Taco in a Bag Fundraiser at the Bagley American Legion is $12 for adults and $8 for 12 and under. Dessert is included. There will also be a silent auction and a chance to win a gun from Off Grid Amory.
