Norman County East School Board News & Notes from March 21st Meeting
Twin Valley, MN — The Norman County East School Board held their regular monthly meeting on Monday, March 21st. At the meeting, the board discussed some updates to their main gym, including new wall mats and scoreboard updates. Norman County East Superintendent Rob Nudell says with new shot clock requirements coming, they are debating whether to just add shot clocks or all new scoreboards.
The board approved some updates to their outdoor basketball court as well. Thanks to a donation from the Legion, they will be purchasing new hoops for the recently resurfaced court.
The district also accepted roughly another $5000 in donation from various sources for the Family Fair, books, classroom updates, and more.
And with their school bookkeeper retiring at the end of the year, the board approved posting for an Office Secretary position.
The Norman County East School Board also approved an overnight trip to the FFA State Convention, approved the 2022-23 School Picture contract with Shawn’s Pix, and approved the 2023 and 2024 contract with Brady Martz.
