Come Home to Hendrum for 140th Celebration & Hendrum/Perley/NCW All-School Reunion
Hendrum, MN — Come home to Hendrum this weekend for the Hendrum-Perley-Norman County West All School Reunion and Hendrum’s 140th Celebration. The weekend festivities include a street dance, car show, parade, helicopter riders, banquet, All-School Reunion Program, and much more. All-School Reunion Committee Member John Kolness says they typically host this half town celebration/half all school reunion every five years.
A unique tradition that is part of this weekend’s Hendrum 140th Celebration and All School Reunion is the firing of the town cannon. Kolness talks about the history of the town cannon, which this year will actually be fired off twice on Saturday afternoon.
And don’t let not being a Husky or Panther deter you from joining in on this weekend’s fun. Kolness adds that all are welcomed and encouraged to participates in the celebration.
