COVID-19 Testing Still Widely Available

COVID-19 Testing Still Widely Available

March 31, 2022 Access Health News -- KRJB-KRJM-KKCQ 0

Ada, MN — While we transition out of the pandemic, demand for COVID-19 testing has dwindled, but the opportunity to get tested is still widely available for those who need it. Sarah Kjono with Norman-Mahnomen Public Health says they have a good supply of at-home antigen tests available that can be picked up by request at the Public Health offices.

For those who are required to test for travel, Kjono says the at-home tests typically aren’t accepted and instead they’ll need to take a more accurate PCR test. While it’s not Public Health’s role to provide those tests, they may be able to assist with those as well.

You can also order the at-home rapid COVID-19 antigen tests for free through the Minnesota Department of Health website. Minnesotans can order up two kits, each including two tests, while supplies last. There is a limit of two test kits per household.
