Crash leads to one taken to hospital in Cass County
(Becker Township, MN) — Snow and ice conditions on Highway 64 just north of Motley led to one vehicle leaving the roadway on February 20th.
The Minnesota State Patrol reports a 2009 Nissan Altima was driving south on Highway 64 near 100th Street SW near Motley when it lost control and entered the ditch, striking a tree. The driver of the Altima, 17-year-old Maggie Cynor from St Cloud, was taken to Lakewood Health in Staples with non-life threatening injuries. The passenger, Tyler Ford, age 18 of Bemidji, was treated at the scene. Both were wearing their seatbelts.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office and Staples Ambulance assisted the Minnesota State Patrol at the scene.
