CRMC Nursing Scholarship now available

Anne Hasskamp Sambar left a legacy that will benefit area seniors and Cuyuna Regional Medical Center employees.

The Hasskamp family established a Memorial Nursing Scholarship to honor her years working as a nurses’ aide at CRMC in Crosby. Hasskamp was a graduate of Crosby-Ironton High School and continued her education in the Licensed Practical Nursing program at what is now Central Lakes College. She died in September.Crosby-Ironton High School seniors and Cuyuna Regional Medical Center employees may apply for the annual Anne Hasskamp L.P.N. Nursing Scholarship.

The scholarship provides $500 toward  tuition at Central Lakes College for a nursing student. The deadline to apply for this year is April 27th. Applications are available at the C-I counselor’s office and in CRMC’s HR office.
