CRMC Ortho to Make National Presentations
Cuyuna Regional Medical Center’s Orthopaedics Team is among the orthopaedics specialists who are making presentations at the Mid-America Orthopaedic Association’s 2023 Annual Meeting at Miramar Beach, Fla., in April.
Led by Fellowship Trained and Board-Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon Erik Severson, M.D., and accompanied by his Fellow Matthew Musto, D.O., Physician Assistants Tom Lewandowski and Matthew Fleming, medical student Luke LeMieur, Certified Nurse Practitioner Adam English, and Registered Nurse John Reimer, they will make three podium presentations at the educational event.
Presentations on Thursday, April 20, include the following topics: “Improved Patellar Tracking in Image-Free Robotic Assisted Total Knee Arthroplasty” by Dr. Mutso and “Resource Utilization with VELYS Robot and Manual TKA” by Lewandowski. On Saturday, April 22, LeMieur will present “Comparative Study Measuring Radiation Exposure in Direct Anterior Total Hip Arthroplasty.”
The Mid-America Orthopaedic Association was formed in 1982 as a regional orthopaedic association. Its mission is to serve its members through outstanding educational and fellowship opportunities and to provide value-added services at the annual meeting and throughout the year.
