(Crosby, MN) — The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services awarded Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby a five-star Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems rating and is only one of eight in Minnesota to receive the recognition.

HCAHPS is a national, standardized survey of hospital patients about their experiences during a recent hospital stay. Ratings range from one to five stars and are published quarterly to help consumers choose where to receive care.

The HCAHPS summary star rating is the average of the ratings of the 10 topic-specific measures, which combines different aspects of patients’ experience of care to make it easier to compare hospitals. The figures for these ratings are from the CMS Hospitals Compare website and represent data released January 26th, 2022, based on date July 1, 2020 to March 31, 2021.
