CRMC, Smiles for Jake hosting ‘My Ascension’ documentary, discussion at Mayberry Auditorium on Monday

(Crosby, MN) — Cuyuna Regional Medical Center, local medical professionals and, mental health advocates are partnering together for host the ‘My Ascension’ documentary and Emma Benoit Monday night at 5:30pm from the Mayberry Auditorium at Crosby-Ironton High School.

CRMC’s Jennifer Podsiadly spoke to R&J Broadcasting, Inc about the subject of the documentary and Emma Benoit’s journey.

Podsiadly also touched on the numerous resources available for individuals struggling with mental health that are available.

One of those helpful resources is Smiles for Jake, which brings to light the ending of the stigma of mental illness.

Following the airing of the documentary, a panel discussion will also be part of the evening’s events.
