CRMC to celebrate National Healthcare Decisions Day with special event April 12-14

(Crosby, MN) — National Healthcare Decisions Day is Saturday, April 16th at the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center will be encouraging people to speak with their loved ones, express their wishes regarding healthcare, and participate in advance care planning and complete a health care directive.

As part of the special event, CRMC staff will be available in CRMC’s main entrance lobby from 10am-2pm Tuesday-Thursday April 12-14 to answer questions. Trained advanced care planning facilitators are available at CRMC in Crosby at other times to assist in completing health care directives. CRMC Social Workers Kari Lee Pietz and Betsy Liedl will speak about the upcoming National Decision Day on Community Connection during the “Wake The Lakes” Morning Show on Home Grown Local Radio on Thursday, April 14th.
