CRMC’s Pederson named Mary Lou Houle Nursing Excellence Award winner

(Crosby, MN) — Cuyuna Regional Medical Center announced May 2nd that Registered Nurse Care Coordinator Jenny Pederson at their Care Center was named the recipient of the Mary Lou Houle Nursing Excellence Award.
Pederson, a CRMC employee for the past 26 years, received the award for her dedication to the nursing profession, the residents she cares for and their families, and being a leading example of what nursing at CRMC embodies. Beginning her career as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the Care Center, she completed her RN Degree and has been a charge nurse in the Care Center for more than 25 years. In the Fall of 2021, she moved into a new Quality Coordinator role where she is actively involved in bringing best practices to the Care Center.
CRMC established the Mary Lou Houle Nursing Excellence Award in 2010.
