Crow Wing County Veteran’s Services talks Camp Lejeune Justice Act
(Brainerd, MN) — Recent news headlines and infomercials concerning groundwater contamination at the Camp Lejeune Marine Corps Base from the 1960’s through the 1980’s caught the attention of Crow Wing County Veterans Service Office Erik Flowers during our monthly conversation.
The Camp Lejeune Justice Act has opened the chance for veterans who trained at the Base to be compensated for illnesses suffered in their lifetime, according to Flowers.
The timing of this information being released has come when it has been easiest on the Military and Government.
Flowers did also put out getting the proper information on your eligibility and how your potential compensation is all yours.
Veterans should reach out to their local Veterans Service Office before taking any action.
