Cuyuna Regional Medical Center names new COO
(Crosby, MN) — Lynn Severson of Merrifield will join the staff of Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby on June 20 as Chief Operations Officer. She comes to CRMC from Essentia Health’s corporate office where she partnered with operations and supported service line development the past 27 years.
As COO, Severson will be responsible for the operations of key departments throughout CRMC and integrate the organization’s strategies with operations. She will provide management oversight for the development and implementation of diversified high-quality, cost-effective, and integrated clinical programs that are designed to meet the needs of patients, physicians, public, and staff.
Severson, who is originally from the Duluth area, earned her Master’s degree in Health Care Administration at Concordia University in St. Paul and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin Superior. She has worked in numerous positions at Essentia Health including Corporate Controller, Manager Decision Support, and Accountant/Cost Accountant. She is actively involved in the community and has served as a volunteer and board member for the Lakes Area United Way in Brainerd and the Rape and Abuse Crisis Center in Fargo, North Dakota.
