Darcie’s Dancers Dominate at Nationals
The other day I got to talk to Darcie Schulz along with three of her dancers, Rena Gedde, Liv Werner, and her older sister Ava Werner who were taking a couple weeks to recuperate after competing in the Nationals Dance competition! Where they talked a little about the experience.
And they did really great too!
So how long have they been dancing?
I also asked them what their favorite part about dance is.
For Liv, she had first joined dance because of her sister being in it as well, and now her sister Ava helps her practice at home.
They also talked about the grandeur of the Nationals contest and how big it is for them to place as high as they did.
I then asked what were the dances they performed, as well as their favorite part of those pieces.
So would the expressions be the more difficult part of being in dance?
And the amazing part is they only had 6 weeks of rehearsals!
Then they talked a little more about the reveal of their placement.
So what’s next?
Clearly, Dance is a huge passion for Darcie as an instructor.
It was also interesting learning of the process for working on the choreography leading up to Nationals.
So you can definitely count on these girls to come back next year and dance with Darcie!
