DFL Governor Nominee Speculation

Let the speculation begin.  Now that Minnesota Governor Tim Walz has announced he’s not running for a third term, all sorts of names are popping up as possible DFL nominees for Governor in this November’s election.  Senate Minority Leader Mark Johnson of East Grand Forks lists some possibilities.

State Senator Rob Kupec of Moorhead didn’t give any names, but says the DFL has plenty of choices.

State Representative Steve Gander of East Grand Forks also didn’t list any names of potential candidates, saying it won’t matter if the DFL’s policies don’t change.
