DNR reminding Invasive Aquatic Plant Management Grant application due Feb. 21st

(Minnesota) — The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is reminding potential candidates that applications for their 2022 invasive aquatic plant management grants are due at 9am on Monday, February 21st.
The DNR will be making available up to $1.25 million to fund projects to help manage invasive aquatic species and includes $850,000 in special one-time grants to be available for both traditional control projects and projects focused on new infestations on innovative control methods.Applicants must submit an invasive aquatic management permit application through the Minnesota DNR Permit and Reporting System before submitting a grant application. Application materials and details regarding eligible costs can be found on the Aquatic Invasive Species Control Grant Program on the DNR’s website.
