Domestic Violence Awareness Month
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. In the United States, over 10 Million adults experience domestic violence annually. Local programs like the Family Safety Network strive to change those statistics. Misty Bjerklie from the Family Safety Network was in studio to raise awareness on this issue:
