Don’t Forget to Vote

Today is Election Day. There are multiple School District Elections in the area taking place, along with Referendums.

In Northern Minnesota, Thief River Falls and Goodridge are holding elections in Pennington County. Clearbrook/Gonvick and Bagley Schools have elections in Clearwater County. Elections will take place regarding the Fisher School District for Western Polk County. Referendum voting will take place in Cleabrook/Gonvick disctrict as well as Goodridge and Thief River Falls.

There will be county Elections in Beltrami and Kooching counties as well.

Beltrami County voters will see a sales tax question on their ballots in November. The local option sales tax, at five-eighths of a percent, is requested of voters to offset the costs of the Beltrami County Jail project.

There will be no shortage of reasons to get out and vote. Be sure to research if your area will have voting today, and take the time to make your voice heard.
