Duluth Dylan Fest set for May 21-29

(Duluth, MN) — The week-long celebration of the Northland’s favorite son, Bob Dylan, is set to commence May 21-29 in Duluth, in conjunction with Bob Dylan’s 81st birthday.
The week of events will begin with a tour of Bob Dylan sites, the Highway 61 Revisited Radio Show, and the Duluth Dylan Fest Kick Off Party on May 21st.
Sunday the 22nd will have the Dylan Fest Acoustic Jam Session with a Bob Dylan Trivia Night and Livestream Listening Party on the 23rd. The Bob Dylan Front Porch Birthday Party with live music from Greg Tiburzi and Basement Tapes Band Concert will highlight May 24th, followed by the John Bushey Memorial Lecture and Nod to Bob event on May 25th.
Thursday, May 26th will include the Free Wheelin’ Duluth Does Dylan CD Release Show. The 27th will have the Dylan Fest Singer-Songwriter Contest, and another John Bushey Memorial Lecture and the Music of Bob Dylan Concert will take place on May 28th.
Wrapping up the week on May 29th will be the Farewell Brunch featuring Mississippi Mike Wolf singing Dylan Tunes and Originals.
