East Polk County Quilters for Veterans to Meet in McIntosh

The East Polk County Quilters for Veterans will host an upcoming meeting on Monday, October 19, at 7:00 p.m. at the McIntosh Community Center. During the gathering, members will select the recipients who will be honored with quilts on Veterans Day, as well as schedule the dates for their future cut and sew sessions.

The organization is currently small and actively seeking new volunteers to help fulfill its goal of providing quilts to as many veterans as possible. Community members are encouraged to join regardless of skill level.

Prior sewing experience is not required, as there are many ways volunteers can contribute to supporting the group’s mission.
