Erin’s Wish raises $9K for CRMC’s Courage Cabinet

A total of $9,347 was raised for area cancer patients through the Erin’s Wish events that were held in Ironton the last week of July in memory and honor of Erin Broadhead who at age 50 lost her fight with colon cancer this past December.

All the proceeds benefit Cuyuna Regional Medical Center’s Courage Cabinet which makes cancer patient’s journey a little easier by providing financial assistance to help meet basic needs and allow them to focus on healing. The funds are used to provide things like travel assistance, nutrition supplements, medications, compression garments, and more to those in the fight of their lives.

The event’s raffle winners were: Whitney Arneson-$2,500, Chuck Waby-$1,500, Katie Joachim-$1,000, Randy Domin-$750, Becky Nordeen-$750, Pam King-$500, Holly Popkes-$300, Meg Defor-$300, Mark Hallin-$200, and Randy Domin-$200.
