Escape Room, Rickshaw Transportation, & Smelt Fry Highlights Additions to Fertile Car Show
Fertile, MN — Head to downtown Fertile for classic cars, crafts, food, games and more. The 8th Annual Fertile Car Show returns this Saturday, June 11th. Cars and trucks of all years and styles will be on display from 9am until 3pm on Washington Ave and Lincoln Ave with crafters, vendors, and food trucks set up in-between. Along with many of the usual activities, the Fertile Community Club has added a few new additions to this year’s car show. Lisa Liden with the Fertile Community Club says there will an escape room for groups to try their hand at and free rickshaw transportation.
For food options, there is expected to be some local clubs selling lunch items, plus Erickson’s Smokehouse will have their food wagon on hand. You can also start your day at the Fertile Fire Hall with a pancake breakfast and end your day at the Fertile Fire Hall this year with the addition of smelt fry on Saturday night.
Liden says her favorite part about the annual car show is seeing all the activity and foot traffic in downtown Fertile.
Registration for the car show is $10 and will run from 9am until 11am with awards handed out at 2:30pm.
