Essentia Health-St. Joseph’s Medical Center welcomes cardiology specialist Tara Gottwalt  

Tara Gottwalt, an advanced practice registered nurse and certified nurse practitioner, is excited to join Essentia Health-St. Joseph’s Medical Center and specialize in cardiology.  

“I chose to join Essentia because I want to be part of a health care system that goes above and beyond in helping its patients get their quality of life back,” said Gottwalt. “Having the opportunity to work locally and for a company that cares about how its employees and patients are treated helps me strive to provide excellent care for my patients.”  

Gottwalt received her education from Maryville University in St. Louis. She is certified by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses.  

“I am always looking for ways to help my patients get better, especially in their greatest time of need,” said Gottwalt. “I love being a part of my community and providing community service. Being actively involved provides a way for me to combine my love of helping others and my passion to keep challenging myself.”
