Essentia Health-St. Joseph’s Medical Center welcomes first baby of 2023 

The new year rang in with crying- the GOOD kind- for one area family, only a couple days late. Essentia health-St. Joseph’s Medical Center welcomed Hazel Mae Hanson at 1p.m on Tuesday, January 3rd. At 7 pounds, 12 ounces and measuring 21 inches long, little Hazel is the child of Rachel and Colton Hanson. 

St. Joseph’s Medical Center recorded almost 400 births in 2022.

Essentia Health-St. Joseph’s Medical Center on Tuesday afternoon welcomed its first baby of 2023. 

At 1 p.m., Hazel Mae Hanson entered the world weighing 7 pounds, 12 ounces and measuring 21 inches long. She is the child of Rachel and Colton Hanson. 

Almost 400 births occurred last year at St. Joseph’s Medical Center.
