As Medicare enrollment opens, Essentia Health wants to remind our communities about EssentiaCare, our network-based Medicare Advantage insurance option. The convenient and affordable plan combines our expert clinical care with UCare’s excellent customer service and dependable coverage.

EssentiaCare is available to people who live in the following Minnesota counties: Aitkin, Becker, Carlton, Cass, Clay, Crow Wing, Hubbard, Itasca, Lake, Pine and St. Louis. EssentiaCare also is available in Bayfield, Douglas and Washburn counties in Wisconsin.
EssentiaCare is a PPO plan with a Medicare contract. Enrollment in EssentiaCare depends on contract renewal.
