Waubun, MN – Following their 71-55 loss to Ada-Borup-West on Friday, the Mahnomen/Waubun Thunderbirds were looking to flip the script on Tuesday night against the Badger-Greenbush-Middle River Gators. Seniors Tyson McArthur and Dennis Ashley led the way with an up-tempo offense, striking early with some transition layups. Junior Carter Clark got into a groove, cleaning up the boards and making some baskets early, finishing with 19 points. Junior Kobe Weaver had a great second half, scoring 10 points in the second half.
