The Mahnomen Waubun Thunderbirds jumped out to a 13-0 lead to start the game and then held off a few Climax Fisher runs to get the win 59-49.  The Thunderbirds would build double figure leads in both the 1st and 2nd halves only to see the Knights cut those leads to single digits several times.  Mahnomen Waubun got key baskets at crucial times to build the lead back to 10 or more points and would go on for the win evening their record at 10-10 while CLimax Fisher drops to 7-14.
