The Fertile Beltrami Falcons used a consistent performance to come away with a 72-56 win over Mahnomen Waubun.  The Falcons scored the ball well, used solid defense to limit the Thunderbirds shot selection, and out rebounded the Thunderbirds.  Mahnomen Waubun made a run in the 2nd half after being down by 26 to cut the lead to 15 but that was as close as they would get.  Mahnomen Waubun drops to 6-3 while the Falcons are now 8-3.
