THe Park Christian Falcons built a 15 point lead in the first half and grew that lead to as many as 22 in the 2nd half only to see the Mahnomen Waubun Thunderbirds come back to make it a tight ball game but the Falcons would hold on for the win 60-56. The Falcons controlled the tempo in the first half and made shots which would help in building the lead and at the half they would hold a 32-17 lead. in the 2nd half Park Christian would hit their first shots to to grow the lead to 22, but the Thunderbirds would chip away. Mahnomen Waubun would cut the lead to 3 with :36 left, but the falcons would make free throws to hold on for the win. Park Christian is now 16-5 while Mahnomen Waubun falls to 10-12.
