BAGLEY, MN – The Sacred Heart Eagles improved to 10-8 following their 51-31 win over the Bagley Flyers on Friday night.
Sacred Heart junior Isabel Vonish led all scorers with 21 points, including five three-point shots made. Eighth graders Leah Sundby and Alexis Lawrence stepped up for head coach Michael Mathison in the win, with Sundby leading the charge on offense at point guard and Lawrence filling in for Audrey Zavorall, who picked up three fouls early in the contest.
Bagley junior Kathryn Agnew led the Flyers in scoring with ten points, but fouled out with six minutes left in the game. Flyers sophomore Kira Thompson finished with six points.
