Fargo VA raising awareness for intimate partner violence 

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and the Fargo VA is raising awareness for this issue that affects many veterans and their families. Intimate Partner Violence Program Coordinator with the Fargo VA Jaime Wenner-Windahl says intimate partner violence is an issue that affects both female and male veterans at a rate that’s almost double than normal.  

Wenner-Windahl told us more about the programs and services that the Fargo VA offers to veterans dealing with intimate partner violence.

Intimate partner violence can be a tough subject for victims to talk about, and Wenner-Windahl explains why having conversations about intimate partner violence and relationship health are important.
