Fatal Crash Near Barnesville

A Barnesville man is dead after a two vehicle crash east of Barnesville Tuesday morning.  The Minnesota State Patrol says 89-year-old Burton John Swenson of Barnesville was killed when his vehicle collided with a vehicle driven by 64-year-old Cary Lee Zepper of Hawley at 8:25am Tuesday on Highway 34, about five miles east of Barnesville.  Zepper was taken to a Fargo hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The State Patrol says alcohol was not involved in the accident and both drivers were wearing their seat belts.
