Fertile Asks Polk County For Money

CROOKSTON, MN—The City of Fertile is asking Polk County for money.  At Tuesday’s Polk County Board meeting, billing clerk Stacy Erickson addressed the Board, asking for up to $500,000 for Fair Meadow Nursing Home for COVID-19 issues.  Erickson asked if Polk County had some funds from the American Rescue Plan Act that had not been allocated.  Erickson cited higher costs for staffing and keeping up with regulatory changes.  The Polk County Board agreed to consider the request.
