Fertile-Beltrami School Board Approves Bids Summer Projects
Fertile, MN — The Fertile-Beltrami School Board held their regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, February 14th. At the meeting, the school board accepted bids for a handful of summer projects. Fertile-Beltrami Superintendent Brian Clarke says the projects include some classroom remodels and other smaller renovations.
Another major renovation project will also be in the works for the Fertile-Beltrami School District this summer. A couple weeks ago the board approved bids for their west entrance remodel. It’s a project that has been discussed for the past couple of years but hasn’t moved forward until now for various reasons. Superintendent Clarke says they are excited to finally get a more secure entry way on the west side of the building.
The west entrance remodel project will cost around $900,000, but most of the project will be paid for through grant money and ESSER funds.
In other news from this week’s meeting, the Fertile-Beltrami School Board accepted the resignation of their summer rec director.
The board also approved their annual Seniority List.
