Fertile-Beltrami School Board Looking to Renew Operating Levy
Fertile, MN — The Fertile-Beltrami School Board will be going to the polls this November in an attempt to be proactive in extending an existing operating levy referendum. The current operating referendum provides an additional $491.74 of funding per pupil and is set to expire at the end of 2023. Fertile-Beltrami Superintendent Brian Clarke says it’s not a new levy, but just the continuation of what is already in place, and he hopes voters will support it on November 8th.
Superintendent Clarke notes that the first informational meeting will be held this Tuesday night, plus mailers should be getting out to district residents this week as well.
Again, that first informational meeting is scheduled for this Tuesday, September 27th at 7pm at the Fertile-Beltrami School.
