Fertile City Council Approves Financing for New Fire Truck
Fertile, MN — The Fertile City Council held their regular monthly meeting on Monday night, October 10th. At the meeting the council discussed financing options for a new fire truck. Fertile City Administrator Lisa Liden says they have a fair amount set aside for the down payment of the roughly $500,000 truck, so the council gave green light to go ahead and put the order in.
The council also discussed the Agassiz Environmental Learning Center shop addition. Administrator Liden says they were waiting on some final quotes, but now that they have them, they can move forward with the start of the addition this fall.
And the council this week decided to transfer ownership of a van from the Agassiz Environmental Learning Center to the city so that it can also be used out at the airport as well.
The Fertile City Council also approved the 2023 Liquor Licenses.
