Find Fun & Food in Flom this Weekend During Flom Farm Fest
Flom, MN — The quiet village of Flom will come alive this weekend with live music, games, food, and numerous other activities as part of the annual Flom Farm Fest. It get’s rolling tonight with a bean bag tournament at 5pm and live music on patio from 6-8pm at County Road 38 Bar and Grill featuring Terry Mackner and a street dance from 9pm to 1am with the Whiskey Creek Band.
Saturday Fling back to Flom for kids games, ATV ride, Bingo, horse races, and more live music. Most of the activities are in the afternoon so you can sleep in a little, just be up in time for the parade at 11am, according to Christina Lien with the Flom Community Club.
There will also be live music from MVT, which is the trio of Monica Winter, Kurt Vandermeer, and Tonya Kemper, from 4-6pm and 8-10pm on the patio.
A good selection of food trucks and food options will be available in Flom this Friday and Saturday as well. Jonny’s Catering will have Gyros, burgers, cajun boil, and other appetizers. Geronimo BBQ will be offering various smoked meat options such as pulled pork nachos, Hawaiian pork sandwiches, and philly brisket. Barnyard Bites will be serving up their famous Lee Sandwich, loaded nachos, pretzel bites, and ice cream sandwiches. Also County Road 38 will have pizza, apps, and root beer floats, Flom and Area Lions will have coffee, donuts, burgers, and brats, Cakes by Althea will feature cookies, cupcakes, bars, and lattes, and the Minnesota Sisters will have Mini Donuts.
The Fun in Flom doesn’t stop on Sunday either. Lien welcomes all to start the day with some legendary Lions pancakes and take part in the car cruise or threshing bee.
Also on Sunday, the Flom Lions will be hosting a special dedication for their new Veterans Monument.
