Finding Meaning and Hope – Caregiver Support Group

We recently met with Jan Langemo to discuss her new support group at Mt Carmel Free Lutheran Church. The support group is based through the Meaning and Hope Institute. It is a 10 week free series that is offered as a support group for family caregivers. Jan is no stranger to the world of dementia and the struggles that come with being a caregiver.

The Finding Meaning and Hope group will meet Mondays for a 10 session series beginning July 24 and ending in October. Meetings will be held 10am-11:30am at Mt Carmel Church in McIntosh. To register, call Jan at 218-562-7333 or 218-280-3985 or you can email her at mjlangemo@gmail.com

Jan hopes to see other Caregivers get the support they need in the process of being a Caregiver. Through the series she truly feels like it is an opportunity for the Caregivers to have the tools to take care of themselves while being a fulltime Caregiver. Her journey is very powerful and she looks forward to being able to help others through their caregiving journey.
