Firework Safety reminders 

Independence Day is Friday, and thousands across the region will be setting off fireworks to celebrate. While this can be a fun activity, it can also be extremely dangerous, especially for children. For this reason Carma Hansen of Safe Kids Grand Forks reminds parents to follow the proper safety precautions, and make sure their kids are supervised when around fireworks. 

While Safe Kids Grand Forks recommends that you leave fireworks to the professionals, Hansen shares some other things you should consider if you do decide to light off fireworks for Independence Day.
